A Stihl 460 given to me. She belonged to our late Bullbuck, Frank Neely, who passed away this last fall. This was one of his falling saws. I’m planning on rebuilding it to a like-new state. Expensive, but this saw is special. Please excuse the messy work bench.

Thanks, I used to have some orange zip ties that would keep their color and end up real close.
Did you ever find that coil you were looking for?
I thought I had one and I hunted around for a while last night but couldn't find it...

Sears 758G gear drive. Pulled the carb off last night and found a clog in the fuel inlet fitting, blew it out with compressed air and brake cleaner. Tonight after work I'll reassemble and reinstall the carb along with a new in tank fuel line and get her fired up again. Then I just need to sharpen it but need to get some 1/4" files for the 1/2" pitch chain first.

May or may not port my last build, Gilardoni 241B jug. Not easy to compare if the Gilardoni top end was a better runner compared against Mahle, since all my other 242 is mildly ported.
Dressed with 13" bar and Stihls new 23 RS Pro chain.

ITS ALIVE!! Fired right up after cleaning the carb again. A bit of tweaking had it running sweet. Ended up using my grinder and flap wheel to clean up the bar instead of bead blasting it. Files will be here tomorrow.

Picked the best spare 088 rear handle/tank I had.

I sprayed the tank/handle down with Rip Off and let it soak for a few hrs then hit it with a high pressure gurney got all the stain out of it.
I then just gave it a quick going over with soapy steel wool.
Don't know if you guy's have Rip Off there it's used in the car industry as a strong cleaner and it works as you can see lol
