I took about .072 off base and .070 outta squish.

It would have to be pretty temperature resistant?

Or at least temperature tolerant. Maybe some experimentation (on a smaller cheaper saw) is in order

Got the ex down to 101, intake was epoxied up to 79 or 80, trans were raised to 118

Not sure what numbers were before porting, I ported that jug a few times. I think it was cut 2 or 3 times, so my cut numbers may be off a few thou. But that’s what it adds up to

I like it! How does the saw run?

Runs pretty good, was my main saw for quite a while. Then I put that jug and piston in my race saw and it does well there too. But it will be getting switched back before too long

It’s a toss up, 3/8 cuts faster but 404 lasts longer.

Never really “tested” just by feel

I did not think that OEM clips for the 660 had ears. I generally put the gap at 12:00, and so far no problems, but I NEVER use clips with ears.

I'll tell ya what not to do and that is look for saws while on an anniversary trip with the wife.
