Working with my 254 xpg 01 model, oem gasket is 0,8 mm thick, this squish came with one gasket tickness 0,55 mm, 0,015" squish is a bit to tight after my opinion, dunno if I should add one coke gasket into this or not, but it would bring me up to squish 0,019" who I think is nice for one working saw.....Hope combination of 0,55 mm gasket and coke gasket with loctite 518 on both side should be safe....

I am working on a 046 for a friend. I replaced the crankcase with an aftermarket one. I am impressed by the quality of the new case (a farmertec from Huztl).

I shaved .020 from the flywheel key to advance the timings, and I removed the base gasket. I just need a few other parts (new muffler, a clutch bolt and the clutch's circlip).

Ok guys I wanted to update everyone on my hybrid fuel issues. I think I have it all sorted out for now. Today I fired up the saw and began to tune it again.

The low side tuned great. Ended up 1 1/4 ish turns and the saw idles solid at 2800-2900rpms.

The high side also seems to be much better now. I ended up at 1 3/4 ish turns out. The high side rough tuned at 14200rpms. with a good 4 stroke.

The throttle response also seems a lot better now.

It appears that adjusting the metering lever up to be level with the top of the carb body did the trick.

I'll fine tune everything once I find some more wood.

Thanks again to everyone for the tips and suggestions.
