Got a bunch of trade in saws trying to get them to run. Looks like maybe half will be running the other half might have a problem. I got two Dolmar parts saws, a 5100S and a 5105 that I'm gonna try to combine and make one nice saw out of...still will have to buy some rings for it..

Got another 180c tuned up today....new carb, fuel line, filter, spark plug, cleaning, chain sharpening and she was a runner!

Currently going through the fuel system on a 009. Finish it tomorrow.

084 ported and almost ready to fire up.
I gave this one more intake than the last couple I ported, see how it goes

Busy with tax prep almost all day today, by my second client of the day (an old friend of mine) purchased one the the MS 460s I wanted to sell, so I actually got to fire up a saw today! Gotta say it did sound good, but I never got to put it in any wood. Just had a muff mod and limiters pulled.

Have you got an 032 on the bench, the local dealer did a carb kit and told the customer it was junk...

Piston and cylinder look perfect, has good compression from my arm tester.
It pops and dies. Won't ever rev up at all. Pretty much pops first or second pull, and then everyone after that...
before I tear this carb down or try to get a new carb, does anyone have any thoughts as to what might be going on?
