Have a 346 on the bench I finished porting for a friend. Need to do a muffler mod, timing advance and get rid of the blue coil. Then it's out the door and onto a 545.

Thought I'd share when re using old cylinders, I like to check the manifold flanges with a flat file. These pictures are after just a few strokes of the file. Obviously I'm going to keep going until it's flat again, but wanted to show how warped things can get and make for trouble trying to seal 'em up.

Fresly build, 357 xpg year 05, got new ring, plug, bearings, seals, gasket kit, carb gasket kit, fuel hose & filter, so far I'm up in 160$ in total costs. Left to get one muffler and brake flag since I had to borrow parts from my other 357 xpg.

Since she ran smooth and nice and the 199 carb worked 100% I figured out this one has to be the correct saw to test out a batch rebuilded 199's.
