Next to my bench at the shop, Oregon
MS290 that needed some love. Customer complained it leaked fuel, well that was an easy fix as the tank vent had popped apart. Ordered a new one and all is fine....as far as that goes. Fuel line was good so I flushed the tank and replaced the filter. Checked the carb and it was full of stale fuel and the pump gasket was stretched. Threw a new one on for $10 cheaper than a rebuild. New plug and some other servicing and she runs like a top. Also cut a couple chains for the guy. 33RSC 84E's.

Also have a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO 4X4. In for a FULL service complete with the black widow. Scared the last of my brains out so I will be charging him extra(Not really). Waiting on some parts for it. Runs pretty good for a polaris. lol

They are done, all in all it ended up to be nice projects, was a bit scared how those 5xx serie saws where to work on but I got to admit that I love to work on them.

Another Creamsicle, this one isn't mine though, it belongs to my buddy Michael. I picked it up yesterday to get a broken AV bolt out and fix a few other odds and ends, but what he doesn't know is that it is fixing to be sent to NY so that Doc can have his evil way with it. The next time he sees it will be at Randys' GTG muuuhaaahaaaa!

Right now I have j red 535 that has an air leak. Need to find some seals for that. NLA go figure...

MS290 that's not oiling properly. New oiler on the way for that.

My project ATV engine is tore down and waiting on a cam and cam chain. It'll be good as new in a week or so.

we pay about 1000$ for 560 XP, and 1030$ for 560 XPG. It's different in Sweeden they have to pay 100-120$ extra for the G.
If your guys had started to push Husky to provide same deals with XPG your guys would got them, US is a huge marked.
But I also think we have this deal is because of the volume XP vs Semi pro saw and also the demand for XPG saws,
Most dealer doesnt take in 550XP and 560XP in Norway.

It is rare to see an xp that isn't an xpg up here as well.

With 7o - 90+ cc saws the "non- heated" versions some times aren't even listed in the catalogs or on the website - and this happens with both Husky and Stihl (more often with Stihl usually, but not right now).

At the moment, the 562 (both versions are listed for the 560), 372xt, 576 and 390 are listed as xpg only on the website - but that's more than there have used to be. From Stihl it currently is the 441 and 661 that are VW (Arctic) only - they don't list the 461 at all.

.... .

As I understand it, those saws have some extra "leak options" that most other designs don't have - which is at least part of the reason that they aren't popular.
