What's on your bench?

I need some advice. Pioneer/partner p52. It came with the recoil apart and a one bolt. I got the recoil together. Seems like it is missing something. Has spark, compression and is not far from trying to run.

Question: Does anyone know what thread pitch the recoil mounting bolts are? Is there a piece that goes between recoil spring and housing?

Never trust your tools with anyone except yourself....even though you can't trust yourself sometimes.

A lot of the saws I work on with major failures have something to do with letting someone borrow their saw or someone else running it.
I would rather cut the wood for someone than loan out my saws.

Looks all ready for a GTG! Let us know how it runs. Seems like there will be lots of 044/440s there! I'm looking forward to trying them out!

I returned that 046 to it's rightful owner this morning and he was very, very appreciative. Makes you feel good when your efforts are noticed.

Has anyone played with a blower for more power. Well I felt the need when I was putting a rope in my BG55 and saw the flywheel. Bam let's advance the timing about 8°. And open the exhaust a hair. Since a blowers rpm is based on its power to turn the fan. And I think it picked up 3-400 rpm's. I'm going to check it tomorrow and see just because I'm curious.
I also have a extra cylinder laying around I might try some port work on one day and see if the rpm's Rise. What you think?
I know the rod bearings are weak but she likes to drink super techniplate so that might help.

If your wondering about the Orange engine well I built it from 3 blowers customers left so I panted it. Lol

Everything stock I got 7120rpm.
Just my 1/2" muffler mod 7400.
Muffler mod and timing 7680rpm. Test results may vary.
