That makes two of us. Worst damn machines I've ever worked on.
No kidding, On this 2015 570 I was working on, the starter, solenoid, battery, and ignition switch all fried! And to make matters worse...NOTHING available for this model aftermarket. And stupid polaris takes a year to get you your parts from factory. Yesterday I spent 3 hours locating a starter, solenoid, key switch, and some service parts. Only One place had a starter on the shelf. Stupid. lol Unit is just over one year old and already having these problems. As an arctic cat dealer I've Never seen that happen with our cats yet. I'll see if I can get a picture of the starter...it's like charcoal on the inside! haha

I did a complete rebuild on a 800 twin after a guy fried it. Wasn't a year old and something broke the cheap plastic (Y) fitting in the coolant line. The guy drove it home with no water and cooked everything.

Was a basket case when it got to me. Lots of hours and dollars later I made it whole again.

Polaris knew that fitting was an issue but wouldn't stand behind it.

Not to mention they're a complete pain in the ass to work on.

On the RZR I did the tranfer case in there was a 3 month wait on a thrust washer!!
I went to a trans shop and found one, free, had to mod it a bit.
The Transfer case cooked because the machine went in for a 25 hour service and they forgot to put oil in,, then told the customer to pound sand as he didnt check it. To check/add the oil is very confusing.
Same machine 100 hrs and the suspension was had, even had to do some welding.
I got my parts from Babbits in the USA saved $400 on parts, polaris would not give an inch on parts,,,

I buy from Babbits as well. They beat my local dealers price on just about everything.

Yeah, Pain in the A$$ to work on is an Understatement. lol Luckily getting to the starter on this wasn't to bad. Only had to remove the air box, throttle body, and intake manifold. Then removed the mess of wiring and two long bolts and the starter pops out. This is gonna be one hell of a bill when I am done though. haha
