I continued on the 177 Canadien for a bit today, thought I'd pressure/vacuum test before I assembled it and found it leaking from both seals and the clamshell...



There is a bit of scoring on the piston and the cylinder but I think it will be fine for my purposes.

If that pipe will hit around 10K rpm, I'm guessing you be able to get it to have some stupid torque....too bad there isn't an unlimited coil option for that saw.

You can always increase the number of cylinders / I made a 4m aluminum handle but the saw is too bad and 2.5m is enough for now

Just finished a rebuild on this, after having it monkeyed around with by a guy in Wisconsin called Scott Kunz. All original low hour saw.

They are a good saw. Maybe worth $700 rebuilt in good shape? Probably $1500 new now.

Nope, it's an original saw. Very low hour. Haven't had time to run it yet, hopefully test it tomorrow.
