The ring on the piston pin fell apart, the Chinese porcelain also broke the box because it is full of oil inside . Crankshaft see what scratches it has

I bought a 02 Chevy Silverado the only previous owner siliconed the center caps for some damn reason causing all the lugnuts to weld onto the studs it held all the moisture in and rusted everything.
One side had all new studs he'd rotated the wheels on that side and broke the studs off.
So my brother gave me a new set of Goodyear tires 500 miles on them and on Chevy wheels
I tried to get my old wheels off
I broke 2 sockets and a ratchet I got all of them but one that rounded off
4" angle grinder and a chisel finally got it off IMG_20230627_174518.jpg
I just have to put a new stud in.IMG_20230625_135946.jpg
Put new brakes on my 2000 SilveradoIMG_20230625_123950.jpg
Bastard 50cc child's ATV I fixedIMG_20230624_135909.jpg
91 year old neighbor asked me to fix his axe he said his fix With tie wire didn't work
IMG_20230622_115427.jpg
So I put a new handle in it for him.

Put new bearings in a 372 xtorq. Anyone know how far the flywheel side crank seal goes in?
Look at the bore the seal fits into. There's a bevel on the outer edge, the seals drives in till the outside of the seal is at the edge of that bevel.

My hunch on the GMC Envoy transfer case shift proved to be correct .The used $25 replacement module fixed the problem .Not too bad for an old wrench turner without an analizer to use .First figure out how it works then eliminate everything that does work and go from there .Good system when it does work .Unlike my old Jeep with lock out front hubs and mechanical shift transfer case that also can be a pain in the behind shifting especially if it gets stuck in a mud hole or a big snow drift .

Now the Envoy,2002 model Georgia bought new .145 thousand miles and nearly perfect in appearance .I could have kept it running forever but being 21 years old it bothered her .It has been replaced by a 2020 Buick Envision and talk about bells and whistles .It's the next rung down from a Cadillac and the Envoy will be for sale in a few weeks .Looking at the current prices I figured around $4600 to 5 grand .

Welp... Thought I'd get out easy... But... The crank walked at wot in the cut when the log bucked the saw. Side loaded the bearing... 20230630_145728.jpg
So... Spare case and tank assembly came off the shelf and she got a new lease on life... 20230703_053212.jpg20230703_053232.jpg20230703_053304.jpg20230703_053334.jpg
Case and tank came from a saw that was straight gassed very early in life. Finally got a new wt194 carb, with the butterfly screw dressed down. Modern 461 cartridge style tank vent adapted, so no more trying to source those pesky umbrella seals. Piped muffler cover, so hopefully no more drool, and it sounds right. I've been wanting to test upol's raptor bed liner for durability, so she got a new hairdo. Square filed full chisel chain, And iced the cake with a husky decomp. Runs better than ever. Finally doing the mofo p&c some justice. Back in hard service she goes!

What did you do did you change the pilot jet?
yes i changed the pilot jet several times. i went small enough that it wouldnt run and worked my way back to the one i have now. put new plugs in and let it sit there and idle until it started to color the plugs. on that circuit they are a nice color of brown. i dont really have a place that i can run it wide open long enough to do an effective plug chop. so i put a main jet in that was way too big and then worked my way down in jets until i got to a size where it runs really good wide open. im going up one size from where i am now to see how it is. it doesnt run like its fat and the engine doesnt seem to be too hot. the mid range it runs really good but i think its still a tad fat. but probably good enough.. i wont be able to stop tinkering until i have made sure that its as good as i can get it.

Decided to pull the old super Rex off the shelf to see if I can make some headway. Need a few parts, and may have a line on some. Pretty neat that the HS spike has a date stamped into it
