I've never had another concrete saw on my bench. But this one was part of a deal and I actually have a use for it. So it's going to be higher than most on the priority list. But the tires are a must for winter. My work car is helpless in the snow. Hoping these improve it some.

I'd say a regular 272 would be more desirable. But the way they reengineered them. Not practical to turn into a firewood machine. That's fine though. I have a couple doorways I need to cut in a foundation wall. This will save me a rental fee

S55 growls only on fuel injection, we'll see what's next tomorrow

Crankshaft seals to be replaced, keeps free running only at 4 turns of the L screw / I will also check the intake manifold gaskets

In addition, a hole in the axis of the crankshaft equals too much draft in the crankcase ;-)

Works pretty nice. If you just have to do one saw, it would be better to buy a shortblock. If you have multiple, it is worth it.

Działa całkiem nieźle. Jeśli musisz zrobić tylko jedną piłę, lepiej byłoby kupić shortblock. Jeśli masz wiele, warto.

What does a shortblock look like?

Poulan 330, olej wyciekał zza napinacza łańcucha. Zdjąłem napinacz łańcucha i stwierdziłem, że ktoś wypełnił dużą dziurę pianką i nałożył na nią spoinę JB. Wyszlifowałem go, wyciąłem kawałek stali nierdzewnej, aby pasował do otworu i JB go tam przyspawał. Kiedy się utwardzi, wejdę od tyłu i nałożę na to trochę JB Weld i mam nadzieję, że to
