I'd say a regular 272 would be more desirable. But the way they reengineered them. Not practical to turn into a firewood machine. That's fine though. I have a couple doorways I need to cut in a foundation wall. This will save me a rental fee

I have a ts350 for the same reason, needed to cut my steps up at our old house and some sidewalks. Bought a blown 350 off eBay for 45$ and put the 5$ garage sale 08s chainsaw powerhead in it. Have had it for 10 years or so and it’s paid for itself probably 15-20 times by now.

Bought a beat up 064 for funsies. Rethreaded and ezloc-Ed a bunch of fubar holes, put a dukes handle bar on original was all bent and max flow. Be a fun beater saw. Have to tune it and test it to see if it needs seals or anything else 8E444AF5-19F5-4FC9-B288-48184AE8A143.jpeg

That doesn’t look like a beater saw to me. Nice score I’d say.
