MS250 that wouldn't shut off. Took longer to find my scrench in my tool bag to tension the chain then it took me to put the spade connector back in the control lever. Good friend of my parents so no charge but he tossed me $20

While I was removing and stripping the jug I found out why my 350 had a leak at the intake boot. Something must've gotten pretty damn hot, but after trimming off the rubber chunks I think the plastic section is still structurally sound. The boot/plastic bit were something I bought as a combo and were not original to the saw, fyi.

Ya I was just about to drain and change the fluid when these two dirty as hell 200t's came in. Figured I'd get these done before changing. It is pretty bad but still cleaning!
I leave it until it looks like mud. Gotta be careful with the Stihls or they come out a darker white

Brother-in-law came in to my shop to pick up his saw that I had repaired. He handed me this! Said a guy he knows is a tree trimmer and was climbing with this saw on a lanyard and the clasp broke. Saw fell several feet and "exploded" when it hit the ground. The owner was placing it in the dumpster when my brother-in-law stopped by to see him. He told the guy that his BIL (me) likes to tinker on saws and the guy handed it to him. Said I could have it for parts. Also said it ran fine until he dropped it.
As it turns out the only thing broken is the top handle assembly. I ordered a replacement handle and will go to work on it shortly. If I am able to get it running then I will give it a good cleaning and do a liquid overhaul on the bar. Might also put a better chain on it. Will be my first top handle saw.

Here it is, all done .I think the machine is a Devilbiss and the original pump is 3GPM at 3,000 PSI .The replacement is 4.7 GPM at 3,000 PSI .The engine is 7.5 HP so it should be enough .The pump was $235 and originally I paid $500 for the machine .I looked up the engine price and my goodness it's nearly $800 .So logically thinking that machine would be a grand at least now of days .When it stops raining I'll give it a test run .Last of May and we seem to be getting April showers .BTW I put Never Seeze on everything which they should have done when this thing was build .I had to get physical with a short handled 8 pound sledge to get the old pump off .

The deal on the pressure washer is I live in the woods 600 feet off the road .100 foot oak trees that block off a lot of the sun .A couple thousand square feet of Berea white sandstone patios ,steps ,side walks .The damned moss grows on it in places .It really looks nice if it's water blasted about every two years but it takes about 2 days to do it .This is the year .Then I have to rake stone grit in the cracks because it all gets blasted out .So I'm nearly out of that stuff and need to order a small truck load which would be 8-10 tons . It's always something .
The washer has been dependable but the pulsajet carb about drives me bonkers .It will get to surging at times .governor going back and forth .I suspect some gunk got in the gas .Partial choke for a short time clears it up .I'm going to dump some Stabil in it and see what that does .
