Yeah, but I get along okay without it. I know they're the super saw, but I just didn't like my 346. It was fast but at the time it just felt too damn heavy next to my MS250, so I swapped it off for an 056 Mag II alky saw with a two-piece head. I've never regretted it. I'm just happy this husky is all one color and not salmon pink like some of the early ones.
Nope. I'm a cheap bastard, if it ain't broke I'm not touching it. The current top end has removable transfer covers, which I don't recall seeing on the other early 350 I saw, so I'm not sure what top end it has on it. I'll have to mic the bore and check back.Put the 346 top end on the 350.
2149 with a 346 cylinder. So a 2153. AKA Mushroom@Woodslasher the only 50cc that has ever impressed me was I think a 2150 that belonged to @Armbru84 that @huskihl ported. Ported, anyway. For stock I'm pretty impressed with the 261 I got from @Funky sawman.
Ahhh that's the mushroom you were talking about? Hell and I called Kenny to find out what you were saying!2149 with a 346 cylinder. So a 2153. AKA Mushroom
I’m guessing Kenny knew exactly what you were talking about? And at the same time he knew absolutely nothing about it?Ahhh that's the mushroom you were talking about? Hell and I called Kenny to find out what you were saying!
Sorry, but that makes no sense.Put the 346 top end on the 350.
The early 350s had the open port cylinder. Later ones used the same cylinder as a 353 with screw on caps but the 350 used a dished piston, where the 353 was flatAwright, enough of all this. I double-checked, it has a newer 353 top end with the removable transfer covers so I think it'll be a good test mule for me to try porting. All you 346 lovers can GFY, they just didn't float my boat at the time. Maybe I'd think differently now, Idk. On a lighter note, it has some sort of case heat shield on it which I've never seen before on either the 353, 350, or 346's I've fiddled with. The piston looks decent and the saw feels like it has decent compression, but I'll still get it a new piston just because.

Mine's an 03 Air Injection model, black coil, open muff, etc. The only other 350 I saw like mine (an 01, I think), had the open port cylinder. Do you think mine came with this top end originally or is it a later replacement? The early 350s had the open port cylinder. I don’t know what year the change was made. But I had a 350 here with the open port and a later one that had the other cylinderMine's an 03 Air Injection model, black coil, open muff, etc. The only other 350 I saw like mine (an 01, I think), had the open port cylinder.
