Is that a date code '78' on the engine oil cooler Jim? So that plane is actually 43 years old. Nice, Keep up the good work!
She’s a 1980 model. It’s really hard to guess the age on these airplanes. This one looks and smells new (inside leather). I guess all it takes is money.

Any 2100/1 fans out there? Been going through some old parts trying to make a lil saw parts money and came across an intake block and i have an NOS gasket as well. I would post it up FS but after a good cleaning(heres were the OCD got me:D) i noticed 2 hair line cracks by the bushings. No doubt in my mind this is still good. U can hardly feel them. Even worse off u could easily fix with a dremel, JB and 80 grit. But im not gonna try and Sell (technically) broke parts. So if anyone here (cuz i hang out here most) wants it its urs for shipping. Prob some more parts to come too.E0B6AFF6-05BE-4318-BD1A-0B645DFBC94D.jpegD45C1CF0-2D7B-4955-AD75-AA1222EDDF61.jpeg2BF31600-634D-484D-A488-28ECB4742969.jpeg780D7E86-EF75-47AB-8E42-7CE7AB622A51.jpegimage.jpg

Got this free roadside find pressure washer running with a new carb. Ordered a new valve cover gasket and soap tank cap too. Pump seems a little quirky but I believe it's due to a sticky unloader valve. I'll clean it up and see what happens. Should be a good money maker. So far I only have the valve cover gasket, soap tank cap, a cheapo Amazon carb, and a new gun/hose combo into it.

Off the bench as such.. Got one of my old ride on mowers going again originally I got it for free one running and one for parts.
Needed a fair bit of work gave the engine a full service welded up the cutting deck new bearings/belts blades and rewired it, overhauled and put in a good peerless transmission and two tubes in the rear. And even gave it a new paint job lol
Apart from my time I've got a good mower now for less than $200.

Three jobs done yesterday after work.

Briggs Power Built ohv single got a replacement fuel solenoid. It quit on him while mowing, quick troubleshooting revealed a failed solenoid, cut the tip off so he could continue mowing while the new one was on order. The fuel solenoid prevents afterfire after shutdown.

Serviced a push mower, quick oil change, new plug, new air filter, sharpen blade, and scrape deck.

Replaced two coils on a Toro SW4200 with Toro engine which is really a Chinese Loncin engine. Replaced the battery as well.

Can't remember if I posted about last weekend's roadside find which was a Generac 2800 psi 2.5 max GPM pressure washer. Replaced the carb and intake gaskets to get it running however the pump was a bit quirky, only wanted to make pressure if over revved for a second. Found a bit of corrosion on the unloader valve and inside the pump head. Cleaned up the unloader and inside the pump head, and replaced the check valves. This evening I got the pump head back together and reinstalled. Assembled the new gun/hose and now it's working as it should. Also changed the oil. Just waiting for a valve cover gasket and soap tank cap and she'll be up for sale.
