I never post here because I am mechanically illiterate for the most part. 260 locked up in the cut, I thought the bar got jammed up with sawdust so I grabbed another saw. Got home and took the bar off, it was not jammed. Could not pull the starter cord. Called a member here and walked me through some things; eventually got the starter cover off and could turn the flywheel up and down but not a full 360. The piston was stopping at the top of the combustion chamber. Tried to take cylinder off but don’t have the right tools. Ordered the chainsaw tool kit from HLS and waiting on delivery.

Update: the bearings were bad, plastic was on top of the piston preventing full rotation. Sent it to a member here for a bath, full inspection, and repair.

Yep, a pair of full-wrapped 2094’s are hanging out for a little bit before they’ll get sent on to new owners. Lefty is already claimed and I’m waiting to hear back from a guy on righty. @JohnnyBlade Slackers don't get full wraps, but I'm guessing you'll enjoy seeing their little brother. He might be hitting my bench in the next week or so, provided enough of my current projects get finished up before then.

Refer back to my post #31565, I had a can of Justice Brothers carburetor cleaner on the bench (the Seafoam didn't have any affect at all) so I gave it a try. It didn't really dissolve the varnish but did soften it up enough that I could clean it off with a SS wire brush.

After a long and miserable delay, I'm finally swapping out the failing crank in my 461 and installing the good used crank @furb hooked me up with. When I was disassembling it I noticed she looks pretty oily on the clutch side after only 2 or so tanks of run time, is my oiler turned up too high? I was sidetracked from continuing to work my 461 after dinner because my chainsawr order containing the flywheel for my dubya finally showed up! So, I put it back together, fired it up for a bit, then put it back with my runners where it belongs.

Two new helicoils on this Makita DCS 6401.
First one was practice because I drilled the wrong hole.

Not a fan of this kit.
Tap was fine, with my own wrench but the installation tool did not want let go and when I did get it out it was cattywhampus. This it after a little straightening

It’s a spare for my truck, a buddy gave me some old N.O.S. misc Ford parts (including the carb kits in the upper right corner) and that was part of it.
Let me know if you want to upgrade to a 500cfm 2 barrel?
If you do any motor performance work to it it does make a difference, fuel mileage will still suck though.
