Picked up a bar and chain for the CS346 after work and trimmed up one of the crab apple trees by the driveway and stone walls.

Had a German contact from Another Site looking for gaskets & such for a McCulloch 73 project he is working on. That prompted me to bring a box of gaskets over to the new building and spend most of the day sorting through them, trying to identify as many of the unmarked ones as I could, and getting it all organized and put away. I also found about 90% of the ones he was looking for.

It's also the switch from the t540 top handle. A must have for all the Huskys and Dolmars!

I have them on all my saws that can use them. Part #522798201 I've half way torn a saw apart only to realize that the switch is off. No more getting out-smarted by an on/off switch!

Another one just about done. Carb rebuild, added fuel shutoff, new fuel filter, oil change, valve cover reseal, and deck belt.

Tomorrow evening I just need to replace the deck belt, pressure wash it, and put the hood back on. I'm delivering it back Saturday afternoon.

Digging into the Lombard super comango, the carburetor has a secondary linkage which I believe operates the valve on the cylinder which pumps the automatic oiler. 20210916_181751.jpg 20210916_181934.jpg

I think I'll work on pulling the cylinder to clean up carbon and the ring grooves.
I have the carburetor soaking at the moment, it has a very small venturi compared to most 68cc saws I've seen.

Not too exciting, but free! The Mac-branded carbide chain is the icing on the cake in my book, but all of it will get vinegared and put back into use. In case anyone is wondering, there's most of a box of Stihl files hidden in there too.

Finished up the Troy Bilt rider. Runs great and cuts nicely. No more oil leak from the valve cover or overflowing carb. The deck belt was definitely due for replacement. Washed it and I'm delivering it back after work tomorrow afternoon.
