What's the piston look like through the exhaust? Are both rings still there?

Piston looks good, moves up and down freely; and, yes, the rings are still there.

I usually use just a regular T27 screwdriver from Menards. You could probably find something local if you didn't want to wait for shipping.

I didn't really look. I guess I had my blinders on...was on a mission to find T-handle torx drivers. Besides, I could use the T handles for extra torque tightening bolts down

Yeah, straight handle is OK for some things, but definitely not for jug bolts.

Anybody here run one of these (T540Xp) without the stuffers? Just wondering. This one fell because somebody straight gassed it. My dealer has a used cyl kit ($40) I’m gonna grab, plus bearings , seals and gaskets. That should get him going. First one I’ve ever seen , as are the stuffers in it.

Taking care of a few things around the house. Trying to get the dishwasher drain unclogged. Trying to avoid replacing it as it looks like it could snowball quickly....

Got an 020AV for free today too. Have a carb kit, fuel line and filter on the way.

Don't! Use acid in those pipes. That leaded cup fitting will absolutely leak if you do most times .
Remember that you can use a fernco fitting if you have to disassemble it as there should be any pressure over 25lbs in a drain line.

Tried baking soda and vinegar and dish soap in the dishwasher and just made a volcano! Ran it through a rinse cycle to get the dishwasher cleaned out. Talked to my dad and he's coming over Monday to have a look at it.

Ok, here’s something a little different, but it’s on one of my “benches” .
Target temp is actually 200 degrees, but we’re almost there. Lot of pork inside. More pics when they exit the grill.
I’ve been up most of night tending the fire btw. Got a late start.
