029 Super will be this weekend. Getting a carb, fuel line, fuel filter, air filter and plug. Also going to pressure wash it and sharpen it if needed.

It’s got a super big sharp “blade” on it…. Lol
Ya beat me to it lol. Did some looking and it's 46mm bore and the regular 029 is 45mm. Also different carb (Intellicarb compensating carb) whereas the regular 029 has a regular carb. So not much difference.

Quick question for y'all, I'm trying to button up the 235 RII brushcutter on my bench but I've run into a problem. The intake boot just slips onto the intake on the cylinder and it doesn't have any clamp/retainer bit to clamp it onto the cylinder. I started pressure/vacuum testing it and the boot to cylinder seal leaks when I get above 5 psi. Is that just how this works? The ipl doesn't show any clamp, the thing didn't have a clamp initially, and based off of the thickness of the current boot I do not believe a new one would make any difference, fyi.

You could put some Hondabond or something similar on the flange.

Good golly! You guys must be really damn bored! I haven't posted a pic of a sharpened cutter because I've forgotten to take one! @RI Chevy I am not offended, I welcome any critiquing you guys can offer. If I got offended by people on the internet commenting on my chain grinding job based off of one of my crappy phone pics, regular life would have caused me to melt down by now. @big t double If I am truly offended by something or don't like something I can and will speak up about it. I didn't really see that comment RI Chevy made as *s-wording on me. Same to @Egg Shooter, I didn't see any malice in RI Chevy's comment.

Back on topic, my 10-10 refused to start after I pulled and re-installed the points and condenser so I'm currently troubleshooting that. I had to stop and let the adhesive holding my coil wire in place set, and tomorrow I'll be busy playing the bed swapping game with two trucks and 3 beds. Maybe I'll get back to the 10-10 on Saturday, maybe not.
I guess you haven't been around here long enough yet.

Stihl 029 Super got running this afternoon. Runs pretty good but needs some carb adjusting before it goes in the wood. I ended up removing and tossing the carb limiter caps. I'll finish it up tomorrow evening.

@WillG Do you have any schematic drawings for deck belt routing on a Cub 1863?
My new belt is the same length as the worn out one but, I cannot I can't loose the excess "slack" no matter how I orient it.
48'' deck.

Got home early enough to do a little bit of tweaking on the 029, richened up both carb circuits a tad and made some cuts. She rips! Chain doesn't need any work. Tomorrow I'll clean it up and get the bill written up. Video will be up in the saw video thread in a bit.
