My MS250 hit my bench for a cleaning/sharpening so it'll be ready to rock the next time I need it. As you can see, the last time I used it was when I was cutting green oak. I cleaned off the chain, sharpened it, and stripped down/blew out the saw. I also mocked up a 2100 filter adapter and I'm kinda liking how the saw looks. I need to find a way to graft a full wrap and a wide discharge cover on it before I'll commit to a pod filter, though. :D

Only to be shadowed by the 797/125 that and the 850 are very impressive runners. Fine work on that one Man.
Thanks, that saw started life as an SP81 but when I bought it the p/c were toast. My dealer used to be the McCulloch dealer around here back in the day and him and his father got into model planes and he had a 82cc decomp engine that was built for airplane duty, thats whats in it now with a AM piston . It does run very well.

Brand new Stihl BR800X that was ran into with a mason dump. All new plastics.
I'm getting quick at doing them, full teardown and reassembly was 1.5 hrs.

Had a sealcoating machine with a crappy running GX340 dropped off for a fuel system cleaning after work. Carb will be here Saturday along with all the gaskets, air filter, etc. Also doing an oil change and gonna toss in a new plug.

Well, this was on my shooting bench yesterday!

My Model 71 (348 Winchester) got a Skinner Sight's bolt peep with an .070 aperture and shot a 1 7/8" 3 shot group at 100 yds with my handloads.

I took my first 3 deer with this gun, but then retired it when my eyes and open sight were no longer compatible. I would not install a Williams peep as it would cover some of my engraving. The Skinner Bolt Peep resolves that issue.

This gun was manufactured in 1940, I purchased it when I was in college in the early 1970s, the owner had passed and it was on consignment. It has always been my favorite gun, and is a real hammer! Looking forward to hunting with it again this year. (That is a Hornady Leverevolution 200 grain bullet, which they stopped selling to reloaders, they still sell the loaded ammo). Luckily, I have a supply, and hopefully they will start selling it again in the future.

Guy came and picked up his sealcoating trailer. Gave me a nice tip and some gear from his business. Diesel that was in the tank of the Honda got mixed in with my used oil and helped start the bonfire this evening.

It was on the bench anyway. I bummed a few parts for the 075. Aside from a recoil spring and a fastener, this 041 is pretty complete. Haven’t checked for spark yet, but compression is good.
Gave it a rinse to start.

Got the missus car sorted today was waiting on parts didn't use any chinese parts it didn't cost much more going quality parts over rubbish.
Went through it all and apart from the basics plugs fuel/air filters oil fresh coolant replaced more than I thought it needed every idler pulley/bearing cams got seals and front crank seal it was leacking bad new water pump the alternator got new bearings brushes were still good cleaned every earth..
Will also put an O2 sensor and fuel pump in it for peace of mind it's low miles but 28 years old.
Just need to hit it with a timing light and set it at 15 degrees BTDC and good to go no more bloody oil leaks...
