Disposed a defective Philips Sonicare Series 5 toothbrush, died two months outside of warranty.

It was worth taking it apart, it sports a Sony ZK02F 680mAh 14500 Li-Ion cell (same size as a Alkaline 1.5Volt AA battery).
I will utilize this cell in one of my LED flashlights which holds 3 AAA batteries in a cylindrical carrier case.

Edit/P.S.:
The cell is a flat top with tabs.
The tabs came off easily, they are spot welded on with two tiny spot welds each.

029 Super cleaned up very nicely with some LA's Totally Awesome Grill and Oven Cleaner and the pressure washer with 40 degree tip. Also cleaned the clutch cover, sprocket area and bar rails.

Last night I checked out a buddy's Ryobi jet fan blower that died on him last week. Carb and service kit on the way from Amazon which will be here tomorrow. I also have a Poulan Pro trimmer to check out tomorrow evening. Finished up my annual Mercury outboard online training this evening, good to go for another year. Picked up a Husqvarna push mower with Briggs 550EX this evening that'll be on the bench Thursday. Just relaxing this evening.

The silver solider is expensive but it doesn't take very much once you get the hang of it, I used almost half the roll of solider on the first one I did and that pipe only took maybe 4" of solider.
image.jpg This is what ive been using. Seems that the map gas gets “just hot enough” to make it work. Unless my method is off, still learning. I think 1/16” would be better but they have this at Farm and Fleet so i grabbed it. image.jpg This is 2 XP deflectors worth at 5”.

I'll have to give that a try.

The stuff Dave used in the video is actually silver solder, but they call it silver brazing rod also. It’s quite a bit more expensive but it works well with stainless or when using dissimilar metals. What Nick pictured is common flux coated brazing rod. It’s what I use most of the time, unless I’m working on stainless. The bronze rod actually allows you to fill slightly larger gaps if you can control your heat
