Congrats.
Don't you love the feeling ya get when finally finding the solution to a problem child?
I do enjoy the brief buzz, but that is quickly replaced by an overwhelming feeling of dread because I begin wondering, "How long do I have before this thing develops a new problem I've gotta hunt down?"

I'm sorry for asking for those.
I'll go back and mind my own business. Carry on.
Don't be sorry, that wasn't your fault. It was my procrastination that escalated things and caused people to misread the situation, and the above was just meant to be a joke.

3 to do this week.

Checked out the 029 Super, needs a carb, fuel line and air filter. Also tossing in a new fuel filter and plug. I'll also touch up the chain. Parts are on order as of last night.

KM55R has a fuel leak.

BR800X is getting all new plastic, they nailed it with a mason dump.

Pics of what's on my bench. In order, the 350 jug when I pulled it, the problem, my 461 carb sans limiters, and fixing my pretty-looking but damaged wide discharge Stihl clutch cover. I have a nice, new (I peeled the sticker off personally) wide discharge cover on my 461 currently, but it's too nice compared to how the rest of the saw looks so I'll run the older cover instead.

Today, and today only, at 10:00 AM, I'm giving out free "Chill Pills".

Please request ASAP as I expect demand to be VERY HIGH!!!

Calm down everyone, this is only a Chainsaw website!

Maybe later I'll post a pic of the 044 someone brought in and we can all "Un Chill" ... it is not pretty ... I don't know how a tree pro can do this to a saw!

If the guy running it had been working for me, he would have had to be wearing a Football helmet with a HD face shield!

On a more positive note, yesterday I took my 7 year old Granddaughter to shoot the bow I gave her for her birthday, and she got a bullseye!

The Good ... the Bad ... the Ugly ... the Pretty!

The positive out weights the negative!

My new Grandson (in NH) born 6/18, and my 7 year old Granddaughter shooting the bow I got her for her birthday!

Next up was the chain. I nicked the ground the last time I used it, so I fixed the filing job the chain's p.o. did and sharpened it. As soon as I double-check the tune now that I've pulled the limiters it'll be ready for some freehand milling when it cools down. Hard to believe the saw is the second or third newest one I own (2016) and it had already gone through 5 top ends when I first saw it in the boneyard in the fall of 2019. It is also a serious contender for the most beat up looking saw I own.
