Got all the parts for my Gilson Snow Cannon, it'll be my project for next week.
Did the final test run of the Yamaha golf cart, ended up adding a wee bit of tension to the starter generator belt. It's getting picked up tomorrow afternoon.
Checked out my buddy's Craftsman snowblower. New carb will be here tomorrow and it's also getting a fuel filter and fuel valve installed. New carb was $20 from Amazon and it's a Chinese one too so gaskets etc really don't exist.

It was already bored 1.1mm and replated. The piston was damaged from the crank coming apart, but the bore was good.
Looks like the young fellars are in for some fun!
I am for sure. Still at work full time 6 days a week too. Monday to Friday 8 to 430 and Saturday 8 to 12Looks like you are still rolling with side work.

Working on a Stihl 036QS that the local Vol. Fire Dept. uses as a ventilation saw, it has a secondary chain break system as well as the traditional chain break, the secondary QS system is operated through the operator presence lever, when your hand is off the lever the break is applied
(if your not familiar) its a Safety Feature that is necessary when on a rooftop in less than ideal conditions..
I'm still looking for the metal mounting bracket (2nd pic) that is part of the break handle when sold as a new replacement part number

Good catch brother! You usually don't notice that until it's all the way gone! Was at my dads this morning looking at how his snowblower was mounted and noticed that his idler pulley bracket was on its way out. Not sure how much life is left?View attachment 280406View attachment 280407

This seems to be a common reply Thanks. You might be better off looking for a 036QS Parts saw. That particular model wasn't overly popular.
I hope they don't get hurt on it.
We're waiting for the dowel pins that go under the barrel. They were missing when we took it apart.
