A big pile of 025.......

Actually a good running little saw. But someone really cooked the clutch and melted the case through to the oil tank. Going to get tossed to the corner until a donor falls into my lap.

Foamed around the old stove pipe in the shop. Also filled the pipe with foam. A quality hack job.

I'm waiting on a new carb for it. The old one has too much aluminum rot and is giving me fits. The float pin pedestals are almost rotted in half.

You could have used some owens corning fiberglass insulation inside too. Save the pipe. Not sure on that now though.

I was working with what I had on hand. No plans of having a wood stove in the garage again.

Don’t work on ton of husky and this will sound stupid but anyone have an easy way to get the limiters off the carb on a 372 Xp xtra torque? Bottom diaphragm got eaten from ethanol and I cleaned it best i could without pulling jets. It will run but is lean on bottom end so something is slightly plugged or the metering lever needs a tweak. So if i need to buy the tool to pull limiters so be it. This one looks like a metal limiter cap so far all the other husky had plastic like a Stihl. I’ll take the metering lever hight spec also if anyone has it.
If it's the type I think you're talking about, you can bypass them in-place with the splined carb adjusting tool:

Or you can remove the whole thing by pushing down on the limiter with one small screwdriver or pick, then unscrewing the needle. the limiter collar can be trimmed off. I had the same question a couple years ago:
