No pic,,,sorry. Made a 181/281/288 from a parts pile , KS181 jug, meteor slug,, I think a 288 tank, one engine case 1/2 is 181 other 288 they fit,,with some mods,,LOL took 6 month to gather all the parts.
And anything that could go wrong did. Anyways the saw ran great on a short test drive yesterday. To cold to go out today.
If it didnt go it was gonna get a beating. Be a good loaner saw.

Good news, I don't have to go look at the Gator, seems to have been a fuel issue. The owner has a farm for retired horses and it seems like that one of the volunteers put fuel in it from a can that is old and not used anymore. Fresh fuel and it's running like it did after I repaired it.

Either way we should talk about a "rebel gtg" complete with Heritage flags! Haha just kidding.
But I have talked to management in the capital about a GTG at one of our state parks.
How far are you from Strom thruman or Hartwell lake?

Hartwell Lake is a large body of water. I'm 30 minutes north of Charlotte NC.
Would love to get together some time. Talk about some saws maybe even eat some BBQ

If he has fuel filters, he may want to change them. Diesel fuel doesn't usually "go bad" per say. Unless it had bugs in it.

Jeff, it's a Kawasaki 19 hp v twin. It's the one I did the valve job on back in the fall.

Trash picked Gilson single stage snowblower I got from the side of the road today. Fired on mix down the carb. Letting the shop warm up for a bit then I'll get it checked out.

All apart and checked out. Carb is pretty nasty but the ultrasonic will take care of it. The electric starter bendix is stuck but soaking with some kroil, hopefully it'll work it's magic overnight. The carb kit hurt to buy, it was $80 but needed. The diaphragms are $40 each.

Almost made it to the bench, but knives were blocking its rest area. So it sat on the stole instead. An old friend brought it by today and gave it too me,said he has another one that's blue, gonna bring it by next time. Never had a homelite, worked on a few though
