Homelite blower back together and tested/tuned. Checked out the Husqvarna trimmer and determined that it wasn't worth repair, I'm thinking dirt ingestion killed it. Got my new valve spring compressor to disassemble the Generac cylinder head tomorrow.

Not bad at all. I'll save it in the pile of stuff to go through over the winter. Have a few trimmers I have been gifted that I might fix up and get a few bucks for.Fair enough, I did a similar one this past winter. It was a bike handle version and the guy really liked it with a blade. Best I remember the top end was less than $80.00 from Husqvarna.
Last job last night was this MS170 sporting a massive 12" bar in for a recoil rope and running issue, ordered a new carb and got the rope replaced. Craftsman generator was dropped off for an oil leak that I suspect is the rear main seal. If it is I will refer him to the local generator repair place as I don't get into taking the generator portion of generators apart.
