Jeff, I've had M Tronic just pop (not start) and if you don't take it off start (and put it on run) it will flood just like any other saw.

Worse, if it does flood, there is no fast idle. I've asked other to hold the throttle open to get them to start. It does not happen often, but it happens.

Weird stuff can happen Jeff. Often if I don't use a saw for a while it will take 5 - 8 pulls to pop.

I had not used my 460 for months and it popped on the 5th pull. 3 days later it took about 10 pulls to pop, I thought I had missed it … can't explain why but stuff just happens sometimes.

Those connectors were used in BRP (Sea-Doo) watercraft for years. VERY rarely were a problem. You should not have to fool with that unless a stick or whatever damages a wire near it.

good to know. That’s what I’m looking for. I did not have the female end for the factory pig tail harness on my tractor. This is probably an even better setup than factory.

I was able to get one ring free, unfortunately the second one broke. I went ahead and put it together since it is easy enough to pull the cylinder and put a ring in when I find one. I was able to clean the points and have a good spark, I also went through the carburetor and all looks good. I welded the recoil spring back together and I was able to get it wound back into the starter but I have to tell you the spring is so strong it make pulling the saw over extremely difficult. The fuel tank may need some additional cleaning as well but for now, those most famous words..."runs on prime"...

I got lots of those! Got a couple boat anchors too!

Well I've got to attach these to a bigger paperweight, then send it all to a guy in Johnstown so he can make it a slightly lighter paperweight, then I've got to decorate it with a few shiny plastic bits, and by the time I'm done, it'll be a very nice paperweight.

A bunch of generators. Need to make a cord for my 5000 watt Homelite, the blue 3500 watt one has a fuel leak, the yellow Champion 4000 watt is a get running and install a new fuel tank, valve, and fuel line. The little 2400 watt Homelite needs a governor spring which is nla.
