Piece of crap shindaiwa trimmers. Hate those things. And the carbs they use are Crap!

It's just because you are not familiar with them, thought the same thing when I left the Stihlership and went to work where I am now. The rotary barrel carbs that Echo uses are actually really good, and hardly ever give trouble.

Plus replacements can be had for under 20 dollars.

Running them both under warranty. I have 3 of these all with the same carb issue. Rebuild the carb and it never runs right. I have rebuilt many other carbs with no issues but these always gotta be a pain in the butt so off they go!

Echo water pump that needed the fuel system gone through. Replaced the carb, filter, and spark plug...runs like a top! BG55 that's had no love at all. Bout the same treatment...carb, filter, spark plug and a Good cleaning. Be out the door late monday morning. And I have about 12 other projects but they are all waiting on parts. haha

I have the same complaint about the 4 MIX carbs, even after ultrasonic and kits they are never right, so now I just replace them.

Ported jug, custom piston, 194 carb, timing advance, muffler port match and red deflector.
