What you working on Mr Randy?Massive.
Happy Saturday Fappers.
Same as the old UK Dolmar Ps 420 if memory serves ....My 420 has a Zama carb , not a lot to it other than a Primer bulb . One thing...check throttle linkage on right as i found the rod rubs on the fuel line when your on and off the trigger ..right hand side of the carb.I had a guy drop this little smurf off to me. Says it runs good for a couple minutes and then dies like it runs out of fuel. I've never played with a makita before. So hopefully I can fix it and maybe learn something tooView attachment 25485
I dont know for sure if the 4301 has a rev limited coil but the 420 has 13500 max.So I just fired this saw up and ran it for a few minutes. I'm pretty sure it's got an issue with the coil. Once the saw gets hot it starts to cut in and out just like hitting the kill switch on/off very fast. I tried a new spark plug and it didn't help. If I let the saw sit for a few minutes it fires right back up and then repeats the same problem
Flywheel tight ??Gonna go ahead and replace the fuel lines and see what happens
I guess you would prefer to have one with longer distance due RA handpiece. It's a magnifying glass...
Get a better one. This one is ok......but it's hard to get a excellent focus and get the right angle under it
