I just got some bearings for a 372 from my Husky dealer I'll check them when I get home. I'm trying to find the picture of the OEM 550xp cylinder kit I had that I believe said made in China on it.

You can still get SKF bearings but you need to look at an older saw to get them

Out of all those Chihls that got put together you'd think we'd have heard about some bad ones by now. Maybe they just aren't getting used much. Idk

You guys are wasting your money buying 6202 or 6203 standard bearings from the manufacturers themselves. I think I spent like less than 8-10 bucks a piece on nachis (I believe them and other name brand bearing can be found on ebay) for the last 372 bottom end that I had done.... and the cages were metal. I don’t like the idea of the plastic cage bearings in some of the husky/stihl saws.

7 chuskys and a bunch of earthquakes and other zenoah clones in use around here
Bearings still intact for some reason.

I picked up a 257 with a broken handle. It is pretty clean. It has the HDA120 carb that I went through last night. Today it started on the second pull...which was nice. The piston was beautiful on the intake side with just a darker carbon spot on the exhaust (that you can’t feel).
