I think I would like to put an order in for one of Bob's "372 kit saws". Lol
they are still available Joe, but far as I know Husky doesnt stock them up anymore.I believe the seal is still available Tor, but it has probably been over a year since I ordered any.
Think he would sell one of those for the price of a BB cylinder?I think I would like to put an order in for one of Bob's "372 kit saws". Lol

I don't know Steve. I'm getting mixed reviews on those kits. Guys are happy with the power but they're complaining about the weight.
Maybe with glasses on?Think Walt will notice the difference, and have ya torn down?
Can you post facebook links? I'll try....interestingly enough there is this very question on the Farmertec Facebook page...folks who could build my 254's if they thought there was a reason. THEY won't particularly care about my opinion and whats interesting to me, probably much more interested in you "real world" opinion of those in the business.....ME? Still want more parts for those 254's....SO those who are stuck on real world, tell someone who can react. Those in the Hobby world? Lets carry on our discussion!
Why not?Maybe give them folks a link to this thread. In case they come to check it out - Husqvarna 272xp for me please.
Why not?
But I see a 455 and a 450 in that pic. I happen to like the 460 as a roll around the truck saw. But for me the "fun" factor pretty much rules most of those out. I have a 298 project, hopefully this year. That looks to be a beast of a saw! And a 281. SO not certain any of the "likely" saws from their prospective will be in my small world for a while.
One chassis I hope to revisit is those 61-272's. I have a bunch and they need a reason to exist. Might be fun to build a set of the 200 saws to "retire" the project saws from last season. 254, 272, 298?
Learning about 288's...there is a 288 lite? The difference is? And is a 298 on the same chassis or is it on the larger 2100 chassis?

I saw that.....I don't see any 272s in that picture, but I do see a pair of 262s hiding in the background.
