Give it a few squirts short of stalling it, then give a long squirt until the engine stops spinning. I think this method is much better than spraying into the plug hole, which won't get the upper and lower rob bearings or the entire cylinder. Alot of it ends up in the exhaust port when using that method.
I've also used the Amsoil product and Mercury marine product in the past. The Stabil is available at Walmart so it's easier for me to source.

I just followed the instructions on the can ... I think I gave it five or so sprays down the intake while it was running and then shut it off and took the plug out and sprayed it down the hole and rolled it over a few times, it gave me a piece of mind of the stuff does what it says it does. My mower looks like a cloud for about 20 seconds when I start it again in April.

Are you sniffing lawn mowers now too?

Recently took exhaust off ms261 (only year old not alot of hours but used the *s-word out of it for firewood this year and last), just to see what it looks like since it’s only ever had red armor ran in it, was shockingly clean and everything looked good….i have been running it in all my saws, blower, trimmer, and everything looks runs good…

Now I won’t 100% attribute this to red armor but I have a blower that’s over 10-years old and it was ran with stihl ultra for atleast half its life (yes I know it’s crap and dont use it anymore), but it always had a little sludge at muffler because I would let it set and just idle for a bit if I was doing something else…anyway I noticed this summer after running a few tanks threw of the red armor the idle got better and the sludge completely stopped…I run it at 40 or 45-1…also same with my trimmer no more sludge at exhaust….so anyway it sold me from just what I seen so I will just stick with it, I can order it from Amazon for good price also….

Thanks I’ll check it out!!

You even tried that red armor by chance…I’ve ran all the stihl offerings and it’s better than both of their oils in my opinion….
I tried the Red Armor and it ran great. However, it left a varnish on my BR800 piston crown @ 50:1.

Agree, it’s very mild. I have not tried Saber but I’d imagine it works as well?
Works fine. Just not as clean as Dominator. And it’s easier for me to find quart jugs of dominator here. Everyone wants to sell saber in 4–12 ounce bottles around here
