Some kind of Klotz. I believe R50 or super techniplate. Black sh!t everywhere and waxy plastic sticking the rings in place. Ported 500i lost compression but I was able to clean it and reuse the parts. Ported 462 wasn’t so lucky, ended up taking out both the ported cylinder and piston

If I spent another 1000 years on this forum... sniffing your chainsaw will still be a wonder of the world.

Another thing I never heard of in real life.
There's a reason exhaust fumes smell bad, you're not supposed to sit there and sniff 'em, it's kinda hard on the old brain cells.
Might be some explanations right there. :goofy:

If I could pick 3 things to sniff I don't think burning oil in a chainsaw would make the cut.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks and I have no complaints at all. It's almost identical to VP racing except it's blue and cost way less.

That exact thought occurred to me after spending a day of smelling Klotz exhaust...

Never gave it the sniff

Maybe it's the smell of the box that the new Piston and Cylinder come in that really ropes them in.

Or maybe they like the smell of those 100 dollar bills they have to give you to port their saw all over again.

Helluva Race.
