Thats a clean looking piston there Rogue. What minerals were you feeding that?
Active 2T they have changed the name few times. I starting using it in late 80's was called Super TT back then you can still get Active 2T. Never seen any kind of oil related failure ever using this oil in all these years.
Good thing about it aswell is if you leave a saw sitting for years at a time everything inside will still be covered in a nice coating of real oil it doesn't just magically disappear like some synthetics lol
I don't know what's in it or what standards it doesn't meet I don't read what's on the back of bottles lol.
In a 90cc and up saw I run it at 25:1

Pretty sure Castrol supplies Aussie Stihl with their oils, that's probably why so many used the orange bottle one for decades happily. The orange bottle in the states is quite different I believe made by Omni.

The NZ Stihl oil certainly had Made by Castrol proudly on the bottle as recently as a few years ago.

It is also dyed bluey green, which is a non-negotiable for me as a specification because our MoGas is coloured red or yellow and i want to be sure whats 2T and whats not.

fuel dye is cheap, only takes a drop or two in 5 gallons. Many colors to choose from too
