Has anyone sent in R50? That’s Klotz best oil for protection besides straight castor for Karts and it was about like 800 for burning without milling load.
I didn't. I gave mine away long ago as it gave me a terrible headache when cutting in close quarters

I bet some of the shevles at you fellas places look like the 2 stroke oil section at a motorcycle dealership. Mine looks like that since joining here. It's going to be temporary for me. I'm pretty well getting zeroed in. I hope....
Good Luck

Keith....why you no use Original Klotz no moe?

Gotta free Echo SRM-2100 today. Runs pretty good but the pump diaphragm is weak. Bearly fills the bulb. I'll put lines and a kit in it and actually give this one to my nephew. To nice to ruin. He can wield that heavy pig. Heavy compared to what I'm used to running anyway.
No paticular reason other than just trying out other oils. Original or RA both r excellent oils.

RA, Klotz Original, K2, Dolmar Synthetic are my go to choices. H1R, Stihl Ultra, Klotz Super, and Amsoil are an X on my list. Last choices for me. I may X K2 off there after your test Eggshooter!! :D
My Stihl dealer filled up my trimmer and blower with Stihl Ultra. I used them for 3 minutes, then drained the tanks and filled them with RA. That Ultra was by far the worst smelling oil I've ever used

Just from working on OPE daily Ive seen it does ok in larger cc engines but smaller cc engines like the fs55 and bg55 it will stop the arrestor screen up to the point of not being able to fully throttle wide open which in turn catbons ring lands and eventually scores the exhaust side and seizes or losses compression to the point of not being able to combust

Glad you save the real good ones. I could not kill the ones I think were extra nice. Be sure to check the muffler some of the echoes are the most restrictive ope that I have seen.

Sounds like a dandy business plan for repeat ope sales.
Made alota money cleaning carbs , replacing fuel line, etc. Made alot more replacing piston/rings/bearings, seals because of Stihl oil. Made alot chunking arrestor screens because of Stihl Ultra!!. Ive seen Stihl Ultra plug bg55 blower screens within a few months of the units first runnings

Ive seen alot of 660s with long bars running Stihl Ultra @ 50to1 that look decent internally but take one running that oil with a long bar and the tune isnt quite 4 stroking off of a load and the air filter neglected even alil and that oil will go south and carbon a ring land especially to the exhaust side quickly

Some of these trimmers I get....no idea what oil they ran but it was nasty stuff. Black sticky goo stuck all over and in the muffler. Like roofing tar but thinner. Hell tune is probably most of the problem. Most home owners just run em as they come.
If a 660 was ran on Ultra @ 32to1 and tune rich and the air filter kept clean the oil will perform well and actually keep the piston/exhaust clean and the piston top will look alot like Amsoil Saber does with carbon on the crown. Problem is that the average operators cant tune, wont clean the filter, runs 50to1, runs a dull chain, etc. Therein lies the issues with most oils that WILL cause issues before other oils will. Different oils perform differently and as your test are showing that when one is pushed over the edge in undeseriable conditions , some do a better job than others. Most of us here that can tune, sharpen a chain, keep a clean filter, mix fuel correctly, can use most oils without issues IMO

Isn't iteresting the difference between Stihl vs Echo in this regard.
Best weedeater for the money on the market IMO is the Echo SRM225. Chunk the arrestor screen and retune it and she will act a fool!! My favorite weedeater is a KMA130R with a AP500S battery!!! Pull the trigger and you get instant power and lots of it without pistons, rings, pullcords, starter housings/pawls, fuel, oil, fumes, etc!!:D

You are talking yourself right out of a job. Plug and play battery stuff will cost many jobs. Long live the carbon footprint of exhaust!
