i ran a bottle of the supertech syn through the 365 and first thing i noticed is no smoke and smell so me likes i have not pulled the muffler off but i tuned it a hair rich and mixed it at 40:1 and done fine.
Is it bright blue also?

The 25 or so 660's I maintain that live on it are the cleanest inside of any I see.

I don't know if that means anything but if you need one clean inside for some reason it's your oil for sure.

A logging and sawmill outfit here only runs the regular supertech, I maintain there saws and have for several years and have never seen a problem from it.

Bout 25 660's all ported.

Well...that's just preposterous lol. Saws don't last using that stuff

If your saw is dirty or oily it's not the oils fault, it's the tune or your using to much oil.

40:1 might be ok with some oil but to much with another,if it sludgy you are using to much.

I think 32:1 is to much with any oil, certainly klotz.

If you don't have carbon it's fat or your using to much oil I believe. I've been wrong before though.

What do you think deeter?

I'll pop my 066 open tomorrow and see what's doin inside it.

It has had probably 8 or 10 gallons of super technoplate klotz at 40:1 through it since it's been together.

Any bets on what it looks like?

Your right about both, little fat and a lot of oil. But this oil needs a very heavy load to get full combustion I think.

I don't mind running it like this, the saws run good on it and I know it's got good protection. I'm sure it leaves some power on the table though
