What oil is best? and what ratio?

So I should get new rings. I was wondering if I should because I'm thinking of porting it soon; partially to clean out the ports and head, and then I might as well mod it and replace some parts while it's apart. Only around 50 tanks through it, so still young

Wouldn't be a bad idea after it's been ported.

It use to be but haven't used it in several years. Back then VP used Motul 710 in their premix but it's changed....probably to save $$$.

Hopefully better than what i was using at least. I always used stihl ultra and thought it was supposed to be good for my 2 strokes but i'm trying to get better now because i hear so much bad about it.

2s is an injection oil. 2r is premix

So, is there only one Yamalube 2R?

I haven't found it locally at any of the bike or OPE shops. I Googled it and found it plenty of places, but it looks like there are more than 1 strain of 2R. Can anyone confirm this or is 2R just 2R?
