What oil is best? and what ratio?

I spend more of my time cutting than foruming.

Winter is full on here now, so no more cutting ,just servicing and fixing.
Was a good tree service season though as I get to cut for customers in some of the nicest locations.

Wow. Beautiful country, I always liked Kenora and area.
When we went to mechanical harvestors in the early '90s alot of our cut and skid crews went down there to find work.
About 20 years ago I helped organize the Mid Canada Lumberjack Championships in Kenora. I brought a team from northern Manitoba and we won it.
Will post some pics later, you may recognize some of the Ontario guys.
Gotta take the kids out trick or treating.

Having an oil that pours @-30 is a genuine concern for some of our members like Willard. What great country, I bet life really changes throughout the seasons. I'd want a good wood fueled heater.

Saber is good oil in my opinion. I know there's a lot of other fella's on here running it in commercial use and for milling, I've heard good reviews from them as well.

Nice! Ive upgraded everything on this Marin. Sram XX front and rear shifter/derailluer, Sunrace 11-46 Cassette, Raceface Turbine R Rear Wheel, Renthal Carbon Fatbars, Magura MT4 4 piston front/ rear brakes with 203mm rotors, Raceface Chester Pedals, Raceface Dropper Seatpost, RedMonkey Silicone Grips, etc.

No sooner I say this and the phone rings today.
Contractor putting in a new water main pipe wants me to remove a whole city block of poplars.
Gave him a quote, he looked at it for a second and said "Go ahead!"

What's the consensus for the saber mixture ? 50:1 for small stuff ? 40:1 big stuff ? I know they say 80:1 or 100:1 is safe but , I ain't doing it , lol.

Sweet ! I've been on mtb's since 1989. The engineering in these new bikes is absolutely ridiculous. It's such a good time to be mtb rider right now.

Yup them ratios seems to work well for everything within reason. I may change to a heavier ratio on a bike or quad that is heading to the dunes or other abusive activity to a 2t engine.
