I ran 20-25 tanks of lawnboy ashless oil at 32:1 and husqvarna ls or xp at 32:1 in my 545, I bucked and limbed about two dozen maples with it the fuel was marathon 87 ethanol free
me thinks the plug looks fine this saw ran for the better part of a summer and fall doing firewood duty. Sorry if the pictures are a little fuzzy it is hard to focus on a plug this small

Looking at the end of a well used plug won't tell you a whole lot other than in a very broad sense.
Is a 545 an AT saw?

Chain brake rub on it ? A couple 3/16 pop rivots clear ? i like to run screens ,the muffle some noise and keep crap from falling in there .The 288 shield clears if put exactly where i placed it ,any further back hits the brake handle on a 440 .
It will clear on a 44. 46 is real tight,

Just an added ..............
You could trim away the base a little more, and weld it lower so it clears better

If you need it lower, there wont be any place to pop rivet anything on.

I havent needed to change any screens yet, so I took a roll of the dice here. I didnt want any cracks for exhaust to blow out of, could melt the plastic, so I welded it with the screen under the deflector. A new deflector is $5, so if I do need to replace that screen, I'll just cut the deflector out of there and weld up a new one.

Have you had to replace any screens on yours ?

I welded the outer edge and drilled some holes on the one I did. Tacked nuts on the inside of the muffler and put a screen in and tightened it down.
