hp2 32:1 after 11-12 tanks.

bottom of exhaust port - pretty clean, pretty dry

top of exhaust port - some black and it's sticky

plug - not sure what to think there!

muffler - pretty black. I don't recall h1r 800 or ultra being this black. recall being the key word. Kinda sooty IMO.

piston top - no pic - peering through spark plug hole - looks a lot like keith's 261. Nice transfer wash bare metal. Rest is moist black.

piston skirt - drenched with oil. no scratches.

edit - mixing up some more hp2 - going to run it at 36:1 and see what if anything changes.

I think I let it cool after a long cut maybe? The biggest thing for me is there are zero scratches on the piston. I don't recall seeing that with other oils I've used. Recall being the key word. I know I got scratches with ultra. pretty sure with lucas. not sure with 800 h1r schaeffers.

thought you were going to try hp2 @ 40:1 next?
Already did 32to1 hp2

Very interesting to see what the different oils are burning like with the same tune with mtronics. No doubt different oils burn differently and Ben is right with the residual left in bottom is dependant upon ratio
