I NEVER heard of 240 psi, (maybe 150-175 max compression)

There are opinions and there are facts. The problem with this site and others is guys through out opinions that are not based in fact. Regurgitating alot of old wives tales and patent falsehoods. This does no one anygood. When each post is an entry to win a new saw..., PLUS "opinions are like ... h...."
Those older Stihl's are pretty dirty running machines. When combined with the light load and an nook formulating to run at high ratios it's no supprise what you observed.Saber oil update ,the images i posted earlier were after a bunch of limbing ,about 8 trees worth ,very light load maybe 1/3 throttle blipping the limbs off ,i bucked 3 trees into firewood last night ,shut the saw off after a wide open cut without idling so i could see the plug loaded ,is much cleaner when loaded ,but the edge is still sooty ,and the muffler can still has some soot like a wood stove pipe would get ,the mobil 1 did not do this or the 2 r yamalube when i looked inside ,anyone have explanation why saber leaves so much soot behind ?View attachment 5029 View attachment 5030 View attachment 5031 View attachment 5032
Any reason the mx2t ran cleaner at low rpm limbing ? The saber does have nice throttle response ,and pulls hard in the cut ,as for performance it is good in my opinion ,reminds me of what stihl mix would leave behind almost .Those older Stihl's are pretty dirty running machines. Too late there is 2 bottles in with your 066 ,lolI think you eliminated saber for me.
He can send it to Mustang! Lol! I know he likes it alotToo late there is 2 bottles in with your 066 ,lol
The saw actually makes real good power with it .I'll use it then.
How clean is plug and internals with the hp2 Redbull ?
I'll give some a shot. I'll probably try it out in the 046 milling. Might get to work up a 50" poplar here before long as well. Guy wants it quartered to fit his bandmill.
When you hear lean popping and ambers shooting out the exhaust ,it may be too hot.I just wonder how hot is too hot for these? I don't have a way to attack a heat sensor to watch it constantly in the cut.
