Its quite on here! Surely somebody using blue and green oil that cost .75 cents a 55 gal drum wants to testify that its as good as any made and that its good because it hasnt blown any equipment up yet ??!!!

The Castrol 2T i have isn't necessarily better and i never said it was. Its just 1/4 of the price and it works and i'm not worried about anything melting down. YMMV. "Better" is a personal opinion. Who really gets to decide whats "best"?

I've never felt the need or desire to.

I hear you. But you know what they say, "The proof is in the pudding."
If you pulled a saw that has been running the stuff and it looks really good inside, you may sell a few of the members here on the mineral oil. Make believers out of us. Lol
Experiment and investigate. For the good of the order.

Pics are on here or AS. It's my jred 625 my dad bought new in 1988 and gave it to me. 3 years ago I tore it down. Bearings were still good, original rings were worn out. It got upgraded to a 670 and I replaced both crank bearings

I thought we were referring to mineral oil, Castrol? You run the Castrol or the Jred oil in it?
