im not the smartest in the world when it comes to this idea.
but i don't see wash in my engines just a black/brown crown.
i also tune them so they produce good power with out being rich.
Jake, what motors are we talking about? Certain motors have transfers that discharge such that they don't show much wash. Lawnboys for whatever reason don't show much if any wash IME and the only thing I do is set the governor to the high end of the factory RPM range.

You don't need to disassemble to view the crown. A pen light looking through the plug hole works fine.

I think XP oil is nice too...its good for atleast a pony on the dyno.

But if echo takes the ester out of red armor my sawing days will come to a halt..#notmyoilwithoutester
That Red Armor will still be a darn good oil even without the esters. According to Ben it would be better without the esters. No skin off my azz either way as I have about 10yrs of RA!!:D!! If not Red Armor it will be Klotz Original and red either way is the way to go ! The blue and green oils r a big grade downhill from red oils!!:Do_O

i put the xp oil in saber bottles so the guys at the races don't find out what i run .I learned that trick from team honda when they used to put yamalube in honda bottles for the factory bikes .

Well maybe i really do that because the saber bottles have the oz. marks on them ,Story was cool though wan't it ?
