I used to run it in my big wheel 80 Yamaha when I was a kid. I remember it smoked like crazy and gargled oil out the pipe. Had no idea about jetting at that age and was at 6000 ft elevation on crap fuel all the time. Two stroke anything was a pain back then at that elevation.

Man dont use that stuff!! Too much stickin on the mixin bottle!:DSend it all to:
KEITH GANDY
2361 DeSoto St.
Robeline, La. 71469
mix it in the bottles it comes i know the math this is for 32:1
and i add a little gas to the bottles to get the rest of the oil out
2.6 oz bottle = .65 gallons
5.2 oz bottle = 1.3 gallon
6.4 oz bottle = 1.6 gallon
12.8 oz bottle = 3.2 gallon

Quote: Polarity also causes the ester molecules to be attracted to positively charged metal surfaces. As a result, the molecules tend to line up on the metal surface creating a film which requires additional energy (load) to wipe them off. The result is a stronger film which translates into higher lubricity and lower energy consumption in lubricant applications.
How much additional load?

Well Ben u and I know Esters were designed for much more load and temp than what we have in a saw. At least the RA is a small amount vs 800t and geared more toward OPE though. RA is a pretty unique oil for OPE oil and so far I really like it. I think the Ester oils r alil harder to combust and I had to run at 40to1 and pretty lean on my 346 to get a light brown dry piston crown but it works

Modern esters like Mobil mx2t can burn very clean.
I think the polarity thing is mostly BS. Not that it isn't true, but rather it's effect so miniscule it really doesn't matter. The only base oil that has vastly different protection from seizure is castor oil.

I had a little bit of Klotz r-50 left from bike season so I mixed it up the other morning and filled my Husky 580 blower with it. It was about 5 degrees for a high. Burnt about 3/4 of a tank blowing snow off my wood pile, deck and driveway. Ended up leaving it outside overnight. Went to start the blower this morning and couldn't believe how hard it was to pull over. Do love the smell though!
