Yeah I figured so.
The machine calls for 32:1. I had some of the benol mix leftover from a dirt bike I needed to get rid of or I wouldnt have ran it. Wasn't a mystery what happened.

I bet at 32 to 1 it would have spooged less ,would have leaned it out some .
I'm not sure I understand that theory. Could you explain a little I thought more oil would give more protection? I'd guess with more oil the machine wouldn't be able to burn more oil than it didn't at 40-1

By adding more oil, it thickens the fuel mixture, allowing less mixture to flow through the jets, effectively leaning the air-fuel mixture. It only really works with non-adjustable jets, otherwise, you'd just turn the jet in to lean it out

32 to 1 is leaner than 40 to 1 so will burn leaner with same jets .

I would've assumed the extra oil though ever so slightly thicker would've slipped right on through with the same volume or such minimal difference the extra oil would make it richer. Common misconception?

At 32to1 u r trying to shove more oil molecules through a given orfice than at 40to1. Think choke point
