I may have to let.the wife run it then. Sometimes I think I can tell better on video.

I need to video myself sometimes. Good thing is it seems I err on the side of rich by ear.

Evaporation cools. That's why gas at the same temp as oil feels cooler. It evaporates at ambient temp. Oil transfers heat very slowly. So I can see why one would say less oil runs cooler.
What happens in practice though, who knows...

Oil must also be evaporated in order to combust and it takes much more heat to evaporate oil vs. gasoline.

Just adjust it tell you get the most torque in the cut. Pretty easy.
LOL that is not easy for me. Is that torque like when you are leaning real hard on it? or when it is self feeding real good?
I don't think I would have the feeling sensory to be able to tell much differences.

Ya but I would hate to give up such a great saw just to have auto tune. I don't have the funds for a 661 and a 241 won't cover everything I need.
:p
Maybe I could find an unlimited coil

I use your favorite klamsoil @ 40:1 and they still get a little oily on the muffler. Not so much chunking down because it has a decent load, but cutting smaller limbs and stuff mine still get oily even with Mtronic on my 201.

Every climb saw i've ever seen has a nasty looking clutch cover.

309 pages???...who knew mixing 2 stroke was so complicated. I've always just used the Echo mix and never had an issue. Should I try something different?...LOL.
