Does your 192 get shut off constantly and never get hot ?
Sometimes but not to the extreme of tree trimming. I do a fair bit of trail clearing so two or three cuts then off. I use it anytime I can have an excuse to start it. Wish I was not scared of Hights I would love tree trimming.

Are you using the Echo red armor or the power blend stuff?

I use Echo Power Blend (40:1) but I've heard the Red Armor stuff is great. I've been using Echo oil for as long as I can remember. Personally, it wouldn't bother me to run oil of any brand as long as it meets the manufacturers recommendations of ISO-L-EGD and JASO-FD. I think guys overthink oil way too much...and not just with chainsaws.

I have heard of guys running 60 to 1 with the amsoil with no problems ,limbing i get a little spooge out the muffler at 40 to 1 ,milling and bucking the exhaust port is dry if this helps at all

The wood will run in fear and cut itself off once the engine is fired up .

If you want to try a couple bottles i have a lot of it ,pm me an address to send some .
Why would it be desired or advantageous to use less oil in a motor that's very minimally lubricated in the first place?

,
Carcinogens. Response.
What carcinogens are you referring to? I haven't seen a two cycle MSDS that lists the product as a carcinogen. Further, I would be more inclined to worry about breathing unburnt fuel as its the majority of what makes it out the muffler. This is the nice thing about a strato saw. Not much unburnt HC coming out the exhaust.

If the muffler can is dry and sooty ,the soot tells me unburnt exhaust and wasted power ,i would try my weedeaters before my saws though ,just to see if my thinking is correct ,at least with the saber oil .

If your muffler is dry it means you aren't puking unburnt oil/fuel out the exhaust and are more likely to be tuned properly for max power.

stihl saws

You can always justify another saw.

I've been running K2 for several months and I'm happy with it.

Only downside to K2 for me is price, hoping super M does similar to K2

It is a little pricey, but so are new saws. You can go broke trying to save a nickle.
