What oil is best? and what ratio?

That is boat oil,they have a air-cooled oil that is good.

Not that i would know any better keith but the things ive ran that stuff through ran much better than they did on motorsickle oil.

Thinner oil with less drag and combusting easier. With the race oil u gotta adjust ratio. Kl200 is strong oil with viscosity in the 20s. I run kl200 @ 42to1

Im gonna mix K2 or HP2 at 50:1 in the next few days and after work one day this week im gonna go help one of my mang's cut up some big wood for firewood and see if i can blow up a ported saw at that ratio.

Notice where it says " can be used in chainsaws..etc WHERE RECCOMENDED?"
The problem is no chainsaw mfg reccomends boat oils..
Most of the mfg's of marine oils do this and it's very misleading to people that are not knowledgable.

I cant think of an oil that i wouldnt use really. I just have more favorites over others. When looking at the supertech they made a universal full synthetic in a silver bottle with a black cap but the one I posted is air cooled full synthetic silver bottle with red cap and is dark blue oil. 1.62$ per 6.4oz. If i was in busniess and used alota oil I would have to give it a long term try

We got the grey bottles with the red cap , do they make it in bigger bottles ?

I understand it's certified oil and is a air cooled oil. I was led to believe it work well in my modded jetski. Now it's a watercooled motor under heavy load with major rpm swings. If low ash oil will not work well in a outboard how would it work well in my ski?
I'm looking for a good oil to protect better then tcw3 in my ski. It sounds like some are using it as a dedicated air cooled saw oil too. Is it a air oil or a water oil? And is it like what some are marketing as a multipurpose oil. I'm so confused in my skis application and oil required oil. Oem saws tcw3 and builders are saying go with a good tcw3 or it be better to use a low ash. Which is best as you guys see it.

Being some of us run ethanol laced fuels KL-200. Blends with methanol alcohol, ethanol, nitromethane and gasoline.

Have yet to ever see a separation even after leaving a test batch open on/off for 13 months.

The way some people make it sound if you dont run an assload of thick ass bike oil at a heavy ratio your saw is doomed..i dont buy it..never did.

I've used a couple qts of GP7 at 32:1

By for the least offensive smelling oil I've used.

It was being ran in the 441 I have mostly. The other saws au the time do not mind it.

Torco made good two cycle oils, but I haven't seen them for sale in years.
