Yes. Shutdown under wot in cut when planning on checking. I know it takes radioactive testing to measure the amount and all that but its a visible difference and very apparent less wear on the piston skirts and cylinder using super and kl200 compared to all the other oils Ive usedAs it pertains to the bottom end. Are you talking about residual oil?
The dolmar is next on the list to port!!!I got a nib 441 crank laying around somewhere
Residual oil is a product of ratio and how the motor was operates prior to shutdown. Oil brand really doesn't have much of any influence on this.Yes. I agree but I know what Ive seen with my own eyes over and over in alot of different equipment but im stickin with what Ive seen. Ill disagree on the ratio being the factor on residual though as I have no doubt seen how the Klotz migrates at even 42to1 compared to other oils at 32to1. There is no doubt something different about the KlotzResidual oil is a product of ratio and how the motor was operates prior to shutdown. Oil brand really doesn't have much of any influence on this.
The other parameter your using is totaly subjective in nature.
i thought you were muslim No bacon for U.Well I was baptized in a Baptist church right beside you and Im still Baptist but studied Catechism but changed my mind and stayed Baptist after Conformation. You r Catholic now arent u? Did u change your mind??!!
Lol!!! I dont own a camel or claim to be a jockey!!!i thought you were muslim No bacon for U.
well keith i can consider you my brother since im baptist my self.but anyways did you say you liked supertech?.Lol!!! I dont own a camel or claim to be a jockey!!!
You can disagree all you want, but you are not correct and Maxima test that you alluded to earlier proves this. X amount of oil going in a motor= the amount of oil left in the crank case at shut down.I agree but I know what Ive seen with my own eyes over and over in alot of different equipment but im stickin with what Ive seen. I run klotz at 50:1 and everything is covered in oil.I have never taken a saw apart that was ran on stihl oil at 50:1 that had any oil anywhere, there dry as a bone so I don't agree with it either.
Supertech synthetic has almost no smell to my nose , mixes good, no smoke, and ope was responsive in all I ran it inwell keith i can consider you my brother since im baptist my self.but anyways did you say you liked supertech?.
The 660 I just took apart was ran on Stihl at 50:1. It hadn't been ran in about 2 months since I blocked up and noodled some big pine. It still had a solid film of oil on everything.I have never taken a saw apart that was ran on stihl oil at 50:1 that had any oil anywhere, there dry as a bone so I don't agree with it either.
I got mad respect for your knowledge here but I will disagree and continue to use kl200 until I see evidence that proves otherwiseYou can disagree all you want, but you are not correct and Maxima test that you alluded to earlier proves this. I've got plenty of methanol if your ever out my way. I'm not sure about shipping it? Is it legal to ship? I'm not sure but dry gas may be pure methanol as well.I've tried it with 190 lbs of compression and it wasn't much. I did milling cuts 3' or 4' long 12" wide. 87 was fastest. VP 94 was 2nd. 90 marine was 3rd and 93 pump was slowest. Next will be e85 or methanol if I can find a gallon of it.
No sense in tryin to debate with Ben Jason. Im not sure if u read any of the oil thread on AS but he made fools with all of us!! Lol! I still know what Ive seen and no doubt works for me and have 0 intentions to changeI run klotz at 50:1 and everything is covered in oil.
Why the difference if brand of oil makes no difference
