well they could use better bearings.cant handle a big end bearing though hahaha
Yes if left in, it won't take too long. But if flushed with gasoline after it'll be fine.methanol will destroy rubber parts in a carburetor.
I agree 100%.Residual oil is a product of ratio and how the motor was operates prior to shutdown. Oil brand really doesn't have much of any influence on this.
The other parameter your using is totaly subjective in nature.
Ive found mine no matter what anyone else saysIf someone came here to find out what is the most suitible oil to run in their saws, I think they'd be in trouble and exit the thread confused with a headache.
The only one was a 390xp. It was 215-220. I didn't get anything but sluggish response with the 110. The 395 hated it milling and it was 190 lbs.Do you have any saws pushing over 210psi? If so, I'd like to see if your results were different than mine.
Rc shop might have everything I need. If not I'll search a little harder. If you don't lie it's hazmat which adds about $20 to shipping.I've got plenty of methanol if your ever out my way. I'm not sure about shipping it? Is it legal to ship? I'm not sure but dry gas may be pure methanol as well.
I got a gallon of 85/15% mike,I'll give it to you tomorrowRc shop might have everything I need. If not I'll search a little harder. If you don't lie it's hazmat which adds about $20 to shipping.
I tried making a carb feed enough on my 064 but never did get it to flow enoughCool. I'll play with it when I get home. Got a few carbs to try out on smaller saws to see if the flow is enough.
Im with u. I know what Ive seen for myself and at this point could give a flyin flip whats said until I see differentI ran the same oil i do now before I ever heard of the Internet.
Nothing in this thread has changed my mind.
This is why I went with K2 over 800.here is theory saws that use oil that have a lower viscosity and flash point will make better power than other oils that have a higher viscosity and flash point. as the oil that is burning with the gasoline will produce more BTU's than the other other that is not being burnt and left behind in the engine.
that is the way my little pea size brain understands this.
